Belgian Jupiler league Club side, Brugge have heaped praises on the rise to stardom and impressive outing of their new acquisition Raphael Onyedika.
Club Brugge have also celebrated the Nigerian import following his invitation to play for the Super Eagles of Nigeria against Algeria in an international friendly game.
Onyedika was named in a 25-man squad for the friendly by Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro on Saturday.
It’s the midfielder’s maiden invitation to the Super Eagles.
The Midfielder impressed for Dannish clubside, FC Midtjylland last season before signing the dotted lines for Club Brugge of Belgium.
Club Brugge took to social media to wish him the best following the invitation.
The tweet reads in part “Good luck, Raphael! ,” the Belgian Pro League champions wrote at the top of the list posted on the Super Eagles Twitter handle.
The 21-year-old joined Club Brugge from Danish SuperLiga side, FC Midtylland this summer.
The Super Eagles will take on the Desert Foxes at the Miloud Hadefi Stadium, Oran on Tuesday, September 27.
Nigeria will also play Portugal in Lisbon in October in another international friendly game.
