The Prime Alert Life Saver, a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) on Thursday unveiled a technology device to combat insecurity in the country.
The device, according to the organisation could also address domestic accident and emergency health challenges.
Mr Tony Nwulu, Executive Director, Prime Alert disclosed this at the launch of Prime Alert and Life Saver Device in Abuja.
According to Nwulu, Prime alert is a life saver device that with a push, a button sends an alert of any emergency case at home or office to the company for response.
“Prime alert life saver devices that we are giving out free during this promo are borne out of realising how important life is and how badly issues of insecurity and other responses have become.
“What we do in prime alert actually determines if someone makes it to the hospital alive or not.
“We have all the vehicles and all the personnel to be sure that we keep Nigerians safe.
“By so doing, we would not be having issues of unfortunate deaths as we keep recording now.
“With it, help is just a button away and you are sure that response will come to you in record time.
“So what we have done as an organisation is to bridge the gap of the delay you would always have when you are calling for help,” he said.
Nwulu said that the device would be useful since during medical emergencies, people hardly have ambulances respond to them.
“Let’s say you are having heart attack or any domestic accident that could result to loss of life.
“With just a push of that button, we will send an ambulance to you with well-trained emergency medical personnel.” he said.
He said that prime alert was birthed to augment the effort of the government, adding that it covered nationwide beginning from Abuja as a pilot state .
He added that the device would cost N45,000 but was being given for free at the event with payment of N10,000 subscription fee.
