Normalcy has returned to the Lagos-Ibadan expressway after rioters blocked and set bonfire on the highway to prevent motorists from plying it.
Many travelers were stuck for close to 6 hours at the Magboro-end of the Lagos-Ibadan expressway as a result of the blocking of the highway by rioters protesting the unavailability of cash.
Youths of the area also seized the opportunity to play football on the road while others were seen in little gatherings discussing the problems of unavailability of cash.
However, the police in conjunction of an area boy in Ibafo knowa as Ese came to disperse the crowd there freeing the road for motorists to ply them.
