While we await official confirmation, based on information available to me, I regretfully inform the Nigerian Twitter community that we’ve lost one of our own, @pius_adesanmi . May the Almighty forgive him for all his sins and accept his soul into paradise.

This is devastating. My good friend, @pius_adesanmi. This is too painful. One of Nigeria's most brilliant minds without a doubt. A reminder that 'life is like a vapour that appears for a little while and then disappears'. May God teach us to number out days. pic.twitter.com/gc73QFFmXK

I'm waiting for @pius_adesanmi to come online and say this is not so. This must not be so. I refuse to even contemplate its possibility. https://t.co/87swJcfbGG
