Presiding Bishop of the Living Faith Church, also known as Winners Chapel, David Oyedepo has vehemently condemned the killings that trailed presidential and National Assembly elections held across the country penultimate week.
Addressing his congregants on Sunday at the Church headquarters in Ota, Ogun State, the Bishop said it is shameful that people have to kill to win elections, whether gubernatorial or presidential, house of representatives in Nigeria.
He added that anybody that has no value for human lives is not qualified to lead them.

He also mocked politicians who were celebrating an election that was marred with widespread rigging.
God is angry with the wicked, that is why their triumphing is short.
Oyedepo who prayed against bloodshed during the forthcoming election in the country urged his members to pray that God silent all the wicked ones on the land.
To buttress God’s anger against Nigerian politicians, Oyedepo cited Job 20: 5 of the Holy Bible, “That the triumphing of the wicked is short, and the joy of the hypocrite but for a moment?”
He, however, prayed that Nigeria would not experience another war.
“Other developed countries around the world had developed their mode of voting into a digital method.
“But it’s a shame that in Nigeria, we still queue up to vote, and somebody would still be intimidated by thugs.” Oyedepo
