The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has expressed gratitude over the return of Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, from medical trip.
The governor had travelled to Germany in June for medical treatment, leaving the affairs of the state in the hands of his deputy, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, after transferring power to him in an acting capacity following his letter to the House of Assembly.
APC in a statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Barr. Felix Morka said the party is pleased to have Akeredolu back from his three-month medical trip hale and healthy.
“The All Progressives Congress (APC) is pleased to have the Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, back in its progressive fold after his medical holiday.
The party led by the National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and the National Secretary, Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru, PhD, the National Working Committee (NWC), paid a courtesy visit to the Governor in Akure on Tuesday
During the visit, the statement said, the Party expressed gratitude to God for the Governor’s return to the country, hale and healthy. The Party updated the Governor on major developments while he was away.
The party wished Akeredolu divine wisdom, guidance, and the fullest restoration as he resumes the business of governance, and continues to deliver the dividends of democracy to the good people of Ondo State.
