former Minister of Police Affairs, Waziri Adamu has disclosed that the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu travelled to France to consult doctors on his failing health.
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports Adamu, who is a chieftain of the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP) disclosed this on Tuesday while wishing the APC presidential candidate quick recovery.
“I am a former Minister of Police Affairs. Do you know where Bola Tinubu is now? Me, as a former Minister of Police Affairs, I know where he is. He is in Paris and he is consulting doctors.
“I am telling you based on what I know. Based on what I know, Bola Tinubu is in France. He is attending to his health and I want him to get better quickly so that we can roast him electorally,” Adamu said on Channels TV’s Politics Today.
TNG reports the position of the former Minister of Police Affairs is contrary to what Tinubu’s media spokesperson, Mr Tunde Rahman had said.
In a statement, Rahman said Tinubu left the shores of Nigeria for Paris, France for an important meeting.
Recall that Tinubu emerged as the presidential candidate of APC on June 8, defeating 13 other aspirants, including Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, to clinch the APC ticket for the 2023 presidential election.
According to Rahman, the APC presidential candidate is expected back in the country any time soon.
