Enyimba captain and number 1 goalie, Ojo Olorunleke has sounded confident that the Aba Elephants are capable of defeating Wydad Athletic Casablanca in Morocco today.
Enyimba lost the first leg of the quarter -final clash 1-0 in Uyo last weekend.
Finidi George’s side will take on the Red Castle in the reverse fixture at the Stade Mohamed V, Casablanca on Thursday night.
The Aba Elephants need to win by at least 1-0 in regulation time to drag the match to extra time or penalties.
Olorunleke is, however, upbeat they can surmount the hurdle and earn a place in the semi-final stage of the competition.
“We came here to achieve victory. We are ready and confident, we have spoken together,” the goalkeeper told a pre-match press conference on Wednesday night.
“We faced some difficulties and challenges before coming here, but we are a professional team and we can’t complain.
“We are here to win and qualify. We want to defeat Wydad like they did in the first leg.”
