Ballon d’Or organizers, France Football on Monday night released the list of thirty best footballers in the world in the last football season and two English Clubsides Liverpool and Manchester City lead the pack with having six players each in the list of 30.
Real Madrid forward, Karim Benzema became the first French player after Zinedine Zidane in 1998 to be crowned a Ballon d’Or winner.
Benzema finished in first position ahead of Sadio Mane of Bayern Munich (second position) and Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne, who is in third position.
Barcelona striker, Robert Lewandowski and Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah finished in fourth and fifth best footballers in the world.
For the first time in many years, Argentina’s Lionel Messi didn’t make the first 30 best footballers list in the world.
