Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta has accused match officials of being biased in the game versus Newcastle on Tuesdsay, saying they made scandalous penalty decisions.
Arteta explained that Arsenal should have been awarded two penalty kicks in the 0-0 draw against the Magpies on Tuesday night at the Emirate.
The first was a shirt tug from Dan Burn on Gabriel Magalhaes and the Murphy handball incident late in the game.
Arteta said: “We had so many situations and then we had two scandalous penalties.
“They are two penalties, it’s very simple. I’m talking about what I’ve seen, now, and it’s two scandalous penalties.”
Arsenal are now eight points clear of Manchester City, who are away to Chelsea on Thursday night.
