The entire Emirate Stadium was thrown into wild jubilation as Arsenal thrashed Manchester United 3-1 in a thrilling premier League encounter on Sunday evening.
Arsenal and United were leveled on goals at half time courtesy of goals from Marcus Rashford and Martin Odegaard before substitute Alejandro Garnacho thought he won it for the visitors only to see his goal chalked off by VAR for offside.
New boy, Declan Rice controlled Bukayo’s Saka’s corner kick and fired a shot at United goal to beat Onana in the additional time.
But things got even better for the hosts when Gabriel Jesus lashed on to a through pass and glided through united half for the Gunners third goal just at the death.
It ended 3-1 in favour of the host.
United have not won at the Emirate since the 2016/17 season.
