Chelsea co- owner, Todd Boehly has admitted that he made a mistake to have sacked Thomas Tuchel last September.
Recall that Tuchel was fired after only a few games this season by the co-ownership tenure of Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital.
Former Brighton coach, Graham Potter was brought in to replace Tuchel.
Potter has since been dismissed too after spending just seven months at the helm of affairs.
Although the relationship with Tuchel was never going to work long term, in retrospect, it is accepted that it might have been better to retain the German coach for a season for a more orderly transition.
The Americans also harbour a feeling that they overcompensated in appointing Potter because he was so adept at working with the executives and owners.
However, Chelsea problem persist despite sacking Potter and replacing him with former manager, Frank Lampard.
Speculations are rife that Mauricio Pochettino will be given the mantle to lead Chelsea come next season in the English Premier League.
Chelsea are currently occupying the 11th position with 43 points accumulated on the EPL log with just two games remaining to the end of the season.
The Blues have managed to win one, draw one and lose six in their last eight games in the EPL.
