Micah Richards, a former England and City defender, has posited that Manchester City’s trip to Tottenham Hotspur on the 12th of May could see City dropping points.
Richards made his position known after speaking on Sky Sports after City thrashed Wolves 5-1 on Saturday.
The result means Pep Guardiola’s men are still one point behind Arsenal, who beat Bournemouth 3-0 earlier in the day but City have a man in hand.
Richards has said his former team could yet trip up at Tottenham, where they don’t have a good record.
He said: “When you are coming towards end of season, you do think differently. These games are the most important and that’s where City seem to thrive.
“Spurs have lost a bit of form. That’s the game you would look at Spurs away; City’s record is not great there.”
