Chelsea boss, Graham Potter, has noted some of the mistakes his club side made in their Premier League 1-1 draw with West Ham United on Saturday afternoon.
Chelsea’s Joao Felix and Emerson Palmieri scored for both clubs in the first half of the game as Graham Potter’s watched on.
Speaking at his post-match press conference, Potter said Chelsea lost control for 10 minutes against West Ham and then conceded a goal in the first half.
“Yeah, but you’ve got to earn that and we can’t complain or wait for luck to turn for us. We have to keep working. I thought in the first half we were positive, we started the game well, we scored a good goal, more opportunities as well, good attacking intent,” Potter said.
He added, “We lost a little bit of control for 5 or 10 minutes and then we conceded, which we could do better with, I think. That changes the dynamic of the game, but overall, I thought the first half was quite positive.”
