Chelsea interim manager, Frank Lampard has admitted that Manchester United were clinical in their English Premier League game against Chelsea on Thursday night at Old Trafford.
Lampard added that Man Utd clinical finishing was the difference between both sides yesterday.
The Blues missed an early chance through Mykhailo Mudryk, before Casemiro headed in the opening goal. Anthony Martial then made it 2-0 before the break.
Bruno Fernandes converted his penalty and Marcus Rashford added a fourth.
Joao Felix pulled one back for Chelsea at Old Trafford.
Lampard told Sky Sports: “The clinical nature in front of goal. We were the better football team in the first half – in possession, chances we matched them at least.
“To be 2-0 down is probably a sign of where we’re at. Second half, probably a sign of where we’re at.”
