The Super Falcons will get more friendly games as they build up for the 2018 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations qualifiers, according to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
NFF Secretary-General Sanusi Mohammed noted this, adding that the games will make the team gel as well as build confidence ahead of the qualification.
Sanusi told AOIFootball that the federation has a blueprint for the team and would stick to it as they intensify preparations for the biggest women’s football competition on the continent.
However, Super Falcons’ Coach Thomas Dennerby will submit a list of invited players for next month’s second round qualifier against the Gambia.
Sanusi disclosed that the players will be drawn from the 2018 WAFU Women’s Championship team and friendly against France.
Nigeria last month, lost to France in an international friendly. The game ended 8-0 in favour of the French ladies.
