French side Paris Saint-Germain PSG have identified Lionel Messi’s replacement if the Argentine eventually leave the club at the end of the season.
There are reports suggesting Lionel Messi could be leaving the French champions at the summer.
Meanwhile, Manchester City’s Bernardo Silva has been penciled down to replace the Argentine at PSG.
Messi, whose future will be decided at the end of the season, is looking increasingly likely to leave PSG.
The 35-year-old is yet to sign a new deal with the Parisians.
As a result, PSG’s sporting adviser, Luís Campos, considers Silva his ideal replacement.
Silva is an undisputed starter for Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola, with whom he could win a treble (Premier League, FA Cup and UEFA Champions League) this year.
The Portugal international can also play as a winger and a midfielder and he knows the French Ligue 1 well.
