Nigeria and Almeria forward Umar Sadiq is on the verge of joining the German side, Borussia Dortmund in a deal worth £30M.
The German side sold their main striker Erling Haaland to Manchester City this summer and would be replacing him with the lanky Nigerian forward.
Meanwhile, Dortmund has already employed the services of Sebastian Haller but has been ruled out for six months due to an injury diagnosed as a testicular tumor.
The former European champions have identified Sadiq as the perfect replacement for the Cameroon striker.
Dortmund has reportedly agreed on a deal for Sadiq and will pay as much as €30 million including add-ons.
The 25-year-old scored 18 goals and recorded 12 assists in 36 league appearances to help Almeria secure promotion to LaLiga last season.
He has been linked with the likes of Benfica, Villarreal, Sevilla, and Valencia this season.
