Pioli and Odegaard angrily clash in Dubai

AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli and Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard twice clashed during Tuesday’s Dubai Super Cup tie.

The Gunners won the game in Dubai 2-1, with two flashpoints involving Pioli and Odegaard a highlight.

Twice Pioli and the Norwegian exchanged fiery verbals, with the Arsenal midfielder taking particular issue with the tackling of Sandro Tonali.

Pioli was unimpressed by Odegaard complaining about his young midfielder and fired back from the touchline.

In response, Odegaard was seen gesturing: “Hey… she’s just a friendly, right?”
