Spanish Giant Real Madrid has had their transfer ban on signing of Players reduced to one as against the two years initial ban by world governing football body FIFA.

Following an appeal at the court of Arbitration for Sport, Madrid will now be able to sign new players from next summer and the club fine of 360,000 swiss has been reduced to 240,000.

The two Madrid team, Real and Atletico were banned for breaching rules of transfer of foreign players under the age of 18.

In a statement on Real Madrid website, Real Said: “This decision highlights the unfairness of the penalty imposed by Fifa in its day, although the club regrets that the CAS has not had enough courage to repeal it entirely.”
