Nigerian and Napoli forward, Victor Osimhen has reflected on his performance for his club in recent times after ending three straight matches without scoring a goal.
Napoli defeated Portuguese club, SC Braga 2-1 in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night.
The forward grabbed an assist in the UEFA Champions League encounter played at the Estadio Municipal de Braga.
Although, the 24-year-old was named Man of the Match after the keenly contested encounter, he’s still not happy because of his goal drought.
“It’s strange to end a game without scoring. I’m a striker and strikers live for goals, but it’s not something that bothers me too much because it’s already happened and I’m prepared for it. It’s not just with goals that you help the team and I’m always ready to help in other ways,” the former Lille striker told UEFA website.
Osimhen will hope to end his goal drought when Napoli take on Bologna in a Serie A clash on Sunday.
