Norway international, Erling Haaland has dealt his former club a big blow by scoring the winner for Manchester city in the 84th minute of Wednesday’s Champions League encounter.
Manchester City were forced to come from a goal down to beat Borussia Dortmund 2-1 on Wednesday and put one foot in the last 16 of the Champions League.
Haaland was out marked for the better part of the game only for him to latch on to a cross from the left side of the pitch to tap in the winner in the dying minutes of the game and condemned his former clubside to a defeat.
The Manchester City’s new acquisition has now scored two Champions League goals in two games for Manchester city.
Haaland has now scored 13 goals in his first eight competitive games for City since they met his bargain £51 million ($58 million) buyout clause from the German giants.
Jude Bellingham had given Dortmund the lead 11 minutes into the second half.
But a triple substitution awoke City from their slumber and two goals in four minutes turned the game around.
