Speaking with TheNewsGuru at a well-attended meeting of the association at Kayriot Hotel in Warri, the chairman of the local organizing committee, Dr. Felix Ekpo, disclosed this year’s reunion is special because of its inclusive nature and international flavour.
According to him, this is the second time the ’82 set would be having a reunion, having held its maiden edition in 2007.
“Members of our set are coming in from three continents for this great event,” Ekpo said.
“They are coming in from the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom for this reunion.
“It’s an august occasion holding in August, and a time to recall fond memories of our school days as well as give back to our alma mater,” he further stated.
Ekpo also disclosed that works on the proposed computer center had started.
