Former Vice President Joe Biden is presently leading incumbent President Donald Trump in the U.S. 2020 presidential election.
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports while Biden is ahead, Trump is in a hot chase to catch up and probably win the election to remain president for another 4 years.
As it stands, Biden has polled 73,487,367 votes, which is 50.5% of popular votes so far and Trump has polled 69,620,543 votes, 47.9% of popular votes so far, according to live data on Fox News.
The live presidential election results show that at this minute, Biden has 264 electoral college votes and Trump is managing 214 electoral college votes.
A candidate needs 270 electoral votes to win the presidential election. The projected winner is based on the expected allocation of each state’s electoral votes.
The elections have been a nail-biter. No winner has been declared in the presidential race yet.
U.S. voters will look to a handful of states still in play with the hope of getting a decisive result.
