Popular actress, Genevieve Nnaji, has urged Nigerians all over the world to be the reason people speak good about Nigeria wherever they find themselves.

The actress made the call in a post via her Instagram account while celebrating Nigeria’s Independence Day.

Genny, as she is fondly called by her fans said that it takes heart to be a Nigerian, adding that citizens should always ensure they do good and represent the country in a good way wherever they find themselves.

“It takes heart to be Nigerian. Nigeria is not you, you are Nigeria. Be the reason they speak good about us wherever you are.

“Happy Independence you Nigerians,” she wrote.

Sharing her views on Feminism, Genevieve had said: “My own feminism is just human rights. I’m a woman who has rights to her own choices; I can do whatever I want whenever I want.

“It’s just that simple; if I were a man, it would be the same thing.

“At the end of the day I was born alone, I’m going to die alone, I breathe alone. So I definitely have the right to how I want to live my life,” the 39-year-old award-winning actress said.
