Eedris Abdulkareem, controversial hip-hop artiste, has said some individuals think he is crazy. The outspoken entertainer noted that he doesn’t sing about bums in his music because that is what everybody is doing.
In his words: “ Some people think I am crazy. They ask me why I don’t do commercial songs, how can I go into commercial songs when you all are talking about fake booties and all that? You don’t disrespect women; you don’t talk about women that way.
“Women are the salt of life, women are our mothers. You should respect them when you talk about them. We are Africans, it is sad that you don’t understand the African heritage “ he said.
The Jaga Jaga crooner also threw more light on his growing up, stating that he lost his father at the age of three and had to sleep under the bridge for two years.
“I lost my dad when I was three, my mum is my everything. I became a man at the age of 10, slept under the bridge for two years; I was coming from a crazy place. Dayo Adeneye, D1 didn’t show me love the way Kenny Ogungbe showed me love when he first met me. I guess he wasn’t in the right mood on that day”.
Abdulkareem recently released a new single entitled ‘Trouble Dey Sleep,’ which addressed a number of issues in the country.
