The Selecao of Sao Tome and Principe have arrived in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom capital, for their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
The team arrived at the Victor Attah International Airport around 11:50 a.m on Thursday.
Twenty-one players, coaches and officials of the Sao Tome and Principe Football Federation made the trip.
The players and the officials moved into their hotel after completing airport checks.
Sao Tome and Principe will take on the Super Eagles at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, on Sunday at 5pm Nigerian time.
Sao Tome and Principe are rooted on the bottom of the league after failing to win a game althrough the qualyfying series.
They were battered 10-0 by the Super Eagles in the reverse fixture.
Shoud the Super Eagles defeat Sao Tome and Principe, they will finsh the qualifying series as winner of grop A.
