Real Madrid have made it clear that they will not be signing any player this summer, hinting that the squad is complete for the season.
This statement has ended speculation that Paris Saint Germain forward, Kylian Mbappe would join the club this summer.
Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti said this on Thursday as Mbappe continues to be linked with the Spanish La Liga club.
Ancelotti said Real Marid is unlikely to do any more transfer business in the current summer transfer window which closes on September 1, insisting that the Los Blancos’ squad is closed.
When asked about Mbappe, Ancelotti told reporters ahead, Real Madrid’s La Liga tie with Celta Vigo on Friday night: “No, I rule it out 100 percent.
“I think our squad is closed and our players are thinking about our season.”
