The Presidency has stated that funds from the Nigerian treasury are ‘most likely’ used to offset bills for President Muhammadu Buhari’s treatment in London.
This was revealed on Monday on a monitored programme on Channels Television by the Senior Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President, Femi Adesina.
Adeshina while responding to a question on who was responsible for the president’s treatment for almost a hundred days now, said: The President is entitled to some things and this includes matters regarding his health. Nigeria is most likely paying for the President’s bill”, the Presidential aide said.
Adesina also assured Nigerians that the president was fast recovering from his ailment. “The President that I saw was active, sharp and lucid. The President Buhari that I saw was fully mended”, Adesina assured.
