Former President of Liberia Mrs Ellen Johnson Sirleaf on Wednesday paid a working visit to the Acting Inspector-General of Police Mr. Mohammed Adamu at the Force Headquaters Abuja.
Searlif told the IGP that she was happy to be part of the ECOWAS mission in Nigeria to observe the general elections in 2019.

She said: “I am happy to be in Nigeria as part of ECOWAS mission in Nigeria to observe the general election. We happy with the level of preparations on ground”.
The former President of the oldest republic in West Africa further told the Police chief that the peace they enjoy in Liberia was made possible by the efforts of Nigeria security agencies.
She siad that Nigeria must continue to promote peace in the African continent and the entire world.
In his response, the IGP said that the Police are fully prepared to secure the integrity of the electoral process in Nigeria in the forthcoming election.
He added that their commitment to the conduct of a free and fair election in Nigeria is not unwavering.
The IGP thanked the former President for finding time to visit the Police management team at the Force headquarters in Abuja before the general elections
