Music revelation Oyinkansola Aderibigbe, popularly known as Ayra Starr has done remix of her hit song Bloody Samaritan featuring American pop star Kelly Rowland.
Recall that the duo hinted on the collaboration in January 2022 following Ghanaian-American author, Larry Ossei-Mensah appealed to both of them to do a song together.
Mensah posted a video of himself on Instagram driving and vibing to the songs from the stereo in his car, he tagged both Ayra Starr and Kelly Rowland with the caption “I need this collaboration to happen for the culture, please!”
Rowland and Starr both reposted the video on their Instagram page assuring fans that they were interested in working together.
On Tuesday, Ayra Starr shared a picture of herself and Rowland on her Instagram page, confirming the release of the remix.
“Super excited to share this with you all. Someone I’ve always wanted to work with and it’s on my song Bloody Samaritan…the beautiful legend @kellyrowland out tomorrow!!!” she wrote in the caption
Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe (born 14 June 2002), known professionally as Ayra Starr, is a Nigerian singer. Born in Cotonou, Republic du Benin.
Ayra Starr began a fashion career at the age of 16 with Quove Model Management before deciding to pursue music. After covering several songs by popular artists on Instagram, she posted her first original song on her page in December 2019. This brought her to the attention of record executive Don Jazzy, and led to her signing to Mavin Records
