The Presidency on Thursday reacted to rumours that President Muhammadu Buhari may stay back longer than expected as he (Buhari) may be on another routine medical check in London.
Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, said the president will arrive in Abuja from his Washington, D.C. official visit this (Thursday) evening.
Adesina revealed this via his Twitter handle on Thursday afternoon.
He wrote, “MB arrives Abuja this evening. The good work of rebuilding Nigeria continues.”
Recall that the president left the shores of the country on Saturday to honour the invitation of President Donald Trump.
The meeting was held on Monday and the president was expected back in the country on Tuesday.
However, the president is yet to return back to the country since then.
