In what seems to be a retaliatory attack on students of the University of Benin, soldiers have reportedly stormed UNIBEN assaulting students, and leaving them in a very critical condition.

Thenewsguru.com reports that on Thursday, February 2, some students assaulted soldiers for allegedly harassing and assaulting their female colleagues at an ATM booth in the school’s premises. A protest ensued with the students calling out the soldiers for the inhumane treatment meted on their colleague.

However, according to multiple sources, some men in military uniform, returned in the early hours of Friday morning, to assault students and destroy cars found in the school’s premises.
