INEC to conduct outstanding elections on April 15

The Independent National Electoral Commission ( INEC) has decided that all outstanding governorship, National and State Assembly supplementary elections will take place on Saturday 15th April 2023.

The chief press secretary to the INEC chairman, Rotimi Oyekanmi made this known on Monday.

Oyekanmi said, “Arising from its meeting held today, the Independent National Electoral Commission has decided that all outstanding governorship, National and State Assembly supplementary elections will take place on Saturday 15th April 2023.

Gubernatorial elections are still being declared inconclusive in Kebbi and Adamawa states while some districts are yet to complete their national and state assembly elections in the country.
