helsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi has held talks with Chris Hughton to discuss his international future.
Hughton is thought to be closing in on becoming the new manager of the Ghanaian national team and has been pictured in discussions with Hudson-Odoi and the player’s father.
According to Fentuo Tahiru Fentuo, of CitiNewsroom, the meeting is believed to be related to the player’s international future, with the 21-year-old eligible to play for Ghana through his parents.
Hudson-Odoi is yet to play for the England senior side, leaving the possibility of a career in an alternative national team open.
The midfielder has also resisted calls to the England U21 squad this season.
