La Liga club Real Madrid are in contact with former Inter Milan boss Antonio Conte.
Conte resigned as Inter Milan coach this week after disagreements with management over their summer market plans.
AS says Real Madrid have moved quickly after Zinedine Zidane’s resignation Thursday.
Initial talks have been held with Conte to sound out the Italian about his interest in the job and his appetite for what they have planned.
Should Conte take charge, he will be tasked to oversee a clearout, which is likely to include senior players Sergio Ramos, Marcelo and Lucas Vazquez.
For the moment, only initial contact has been made to test the ground.
