Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho is eyeing Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud.
Giroud signed a new deal last month, but could still move on this summer after Chelsea’s swoop for RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner.
The Daily Express says Spurs manager Mourinho remains a fan of the former Arsenal centre forward he tried to sign in January – but Chelsea would be reluctant to sell to their rivals.
Inter Milan boss Antonio Conte is thought also still keen on a deal.
Giroud, 33, has stated that he could have left Chelsea in January, but stayed after being promised games by manager Frank Lampard, and getting them before the COVID-19 crisis brought football to a halt.
But even though the Frenchman only signed his new £110,000 a week deal last month, there is still speculation that he could be sold on – because now Chelsea can command a fee of around £7m.
