Germany and Real Madrid defender, Antonio Rudiger has thrown tantrums at Manchester City, saying the team is not really dangerous as he thought.
Kelvin De Bruyne scored a stunning goal to equalize for Real Madrid to play out a 1-1 draw in the Champions League semi final first leg at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday.
Rudiger said he did not see what he expected from the English champions, insisting that Pep Guardiola’s men were not even dangerous.
The former Chelsea star said he is confident that Real Madrid would see off Manchester City at the Etihad come next week.
Vinicius Junior scored for the home side, while Kevin de Bruyne equalised for Pep Guardiola’s side in an enthralling 1-1 draw at the Bernabeu on Tuesday night.
“They got the goal quite late so we feel like we could have had more but it’s not a problem, the tie is definitely on and we can go to Manchester with confidence,” said Rudiger.
“At the end of the day they were not dangerous. They had a lot of possession, we knew this would happen, but they were not dangerous. The goal is quality from De Bruyne.”
