The Delta State House of Assembly Majority Leader, Hon Tim Owhefere is dead.
Sources close to the family told TheNewsGuru.com, (TNG ) that the popular politician allegedly died of pneumonia. However, from other sources, fingers are pointing at possible complications from COVID19 infection as the reason for the shocking death of the frontline politician.
According to State Assembly sources, the late lawmaker was admitted into Medical Centre at Asaba after he suddenly fell sick on arrival from Lagos after the Christmas break this January. He was said to have been on oxygen in the last one week after his condition deteriorated significantly.
He died at about 11 pm last night throwing the state, especially the Isoko Nation and the State House of Assembly, into deep mourning.
The popular Isoko politician who represented Isoko North Constituency in the State Assembly was a fourth timer in the House.
