Controversial music star, Habeeb Okikiola, aka Portable, has been captured on tape assaulting a signee of his, for allegedly being ungrateful.
In the video making the rounds, Portable was seen chiding his signee, Manny Monie, for trying to go behind his back to hire two music distributors despite being under his record label, ‘Zeh Nation’.
He then boasted about how he had made Manny Monie blow by giving him several music deals as well as promotions.
The Zazoo crooner also accused his signee of being a scammer, and wondered why he would dabble his hands in illegal activities when he has a well paying job.
Several parts of the footage captures Portable assaulting the signee who was spotted sitting on the floor.
The Zeh Nation boss, in the viral video, accused Manny of trying to double-cross him despite having spent so much on him to promote and sponsor his music career.
In his words: “I bought clothes for you, I bought a new phone and yet you wanted to reap me.”
Portable was also sighted in the viral video hitting the young singer as he crouched close to the singer’s car.
Despite assaulting the young artist, Portable also accused him of being a fraudster, even after he revealed that he collected 700k from the young singer for him to feature on one of his songs.
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that this is coming just some hours after Portable sacked all of his staff who work at his Lagos studio, disclosing that they only earned seven thousand nairas for the duration of one month while he was in Europe.
Portable became famous after contributing to the song “ZaZoo Zehh” featuring Olamide and Nigerian dancer Poco Lee.
During his early stage of fame, he became well known for calling out his business partners on social media for scamming him on business deals such as artist management and also on his Instagram handle where he mostly does all his controversial activities.
