Lockdown housemate, Olamilekan Agbeleshe, popularly known as Laycon has pipped Dorathy to win the 2020 edition, being Season 5, of the Big Brother Nigeria (BBNaija) reality TV show.
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports Laycon was announced the winner of the BBNaija Lockdown edition on Sunday by the Mr Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the presenter of the 2020 BBNaija reality show.
Laycon, a 26-year-old singer and rapper from Lagos, is a graduate of philosophy from the University of Lagos (UNILAG), who started his musical journey at an early age and has now emerged as one of Nigeria’s most promising new school acts.
Laycon, who revealed that his intention was just to stay in the Big Brother house and promote his music, describes himself as being versatile and able to coin words together to soothe scenarios and moods.
As the winner of the BBNaija 2020, Laycon goes home with the grand prize of N30 million cash prize; a two-bedroom apartment courtesy of Revolution Plus; a top of the range SUV from Nigerian automaker, Innoson Motors; a trip to Dublin courtesy of Guinness, and home appliances courtesy of Scanfrost.
Others are a trip to Dubai packaged by Travelbeta; a year’s supply of Indomie noodles, Munch it, and Colgate toothpaste; a year’s supply of Pepsi, a branded chiller, trip to watch the UEFA Champions League finale; and a brand new Oppo mobile smartphone.
In 2019, the BBNaija winner, Mercy Eke, won N30 million prize money, as well as other mouth-watering gifts.
